Purpose:
Each year, Verde Valley Leadership, Inc., selects a student that has made a significant impact on the community, exemplified characteristics of good leadership, held leadership positions in community organizations and demonstrates overall presentation and communication skills shown through the application process. This year, we are honored to be able to announce that the Open Your Heart to Youth scholarship recipient is Christian Welch, a graduate of Sedona Red Rock High school. Congratulations, Christian! Best wishes as you begin this next chapter of your journey!
Criteria:
Students eligible for this scholarship must be a graduating high school senior residing in the Verde Valley who intends to continue their education at a college or university. Student must be available to accept the award at Verde Valley Leadership graduation ceremony.

Applications will be accepted until April 15, 2020.
